PROJECT SUMMERIES: (selected sampling)

  • “Against All Odds: In Search of a Miracle” Not only has Israel won four major wars, survived relentless bombing raids during the Gulf War and persistent terrorism in the last five decades, but she has taken a barren desert wasteland and turned it into a beautiful rose. From her powerful economy to her breakthroughs in medical science, to her rich culture, modern day Israel is truly a wonder of the current age.

This 13 part dramatic television series and docu-drama for theatrical release, staring former CNN correspondent, Michael Greenspan, explores the question: Why has Israel survived and succeeded against all the odds?

  • “Great Souls: Six Who Changed A Century” For more than two decades, David Aikman, former senior correspondent for TIME Magazine, lived and worked amid the famous and powerful, reporting from world capitals as the history of the century unfolded before his eyes. During the course of those turbulent years he encountered people in positions of power and influence, celebrities, and personalities of every persuasion and lifestyle. Among his travels, David was struck by a select few men and women who seemed to embody qualities of character and inner strength of purpose that had propelled their lives into the world spotlight. David identified six individuals from the 20th century, who he believed best represented those qualities. And they were: Mother Teresa, Nelson Mandela, Billy Graham, Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn, Pope John Paul II and Elie Wiesel.

“Great Souls”, the book by David Aikman, was developed into an award winning biographical series for television.

  • “Japan: Searching for the Dream” American Trademark Pictures in association with the Gallup Organization have embarked on a two year in-depth study of the Japanese people. Through this revealing study and documentary for television the Japanese are allowed to tell their story, in their own words, letting the West peel back the mask and experience Japanese culture as it truly is.

Leading anthropologists and Japanese historians have called this work, "monumental and historic". George Gallup Jr. a featured guest and senior consultant to the project, has described the data as, "remarkable and unlike anything I have seen around the world."

  • “Vanishing Peace: The Aftermath of Oslo” American Trademark Pictures brought this controversial three hour series to the BBC for worldwide broadcast in 1999 to explore the historical and contemporary roots of the explosive Israeli-Palestinian Middle East conflict.

This documentary series, arguing that the Oslo peace process was a “house of cards”, boldly hit prime time television at a moment when peace was considered certitude.
